Description
Cundlego formation, Gasgoyne Junction, Western Australia, to be more precise. And this plate is a doozy. There are four crinoids on the plate, each one intact, each one displaying the unique thickly coiled arms for which this crinoid is famous. Three of the crinoids have cute curled stems, and all four show good plate detail on their cups. A very nice piece of earth from our friends down under. The plate has been reinforced on its back (see pictures) against a crack and measures approximately 7” x 6” x almost 1/2”. It weighs 1 lb., 3.3 ounces. The smallest Jimbacrinus is approximately 1 7/8” in length, white the largest is approximately 2 7/8”. Free US shipping only.
