    Beijing street plan from the Budapest based publishers Cartographia combing a street plan of the city’s central districts, an enlargement of the Forbidden City/Tiananmen Square area, maps of the city’s environs, etc.
    The main map is at a scale of 1:28,000, and covers the city’s inner districts, with an enlargement showing the center with the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square in greater detail. Metro lines and stations are clearly marked; various places of interest and important public buildings are highlighted and named. The street index also includes lists of sights, museums, etc.
    Also provided area: a diagram of Beijing’s metro network; a road map of the city with its outer suburbs extending past the motorway ring, with a more detailed map the Ming Tombs area; a road map of the Beijing region including access to the Great Wall of China; and a map of the whole of China showing locations of its top sights.
    All place names are in the Latin alphabet only. Names of sights are in English. Map legend includes English.
    Current edition of this title was published for the 2008 Olympic Games and also includes a detailed plan of the Olympic Green area plus an index of sport venues for the Games.
