Fossil Crinoid Phanocrinus Bellus Bangor Formation Alabama

Description

Phanocrinus is a common crinoid genus throughout the Chesterian. This specimen comes from the Bangor formation of Alabama. The crinoid is quite aesthetic and measures 1.25 inches (~4 cm) with the stem. Despite the lack of arms this specimen presents well due to the particularly robust calyx.
