    Description

    It's a replica of an ancient bronze Scythian spear (2-3 BC).
    The item is patinated.
    Scythians used spears, battle-axes, iron swords, composite bows, and arrows with iron arrowheads. Iron was a relatively new invention and the Scythian smelted their own iron ore. Arrowheads were also made of bronze and bone.
    The reconstruction was carried out from the ancient bronze items of that period on the catalogs of the museum.
